I'd recommend this hotel for: Couples, Families

"My wife suggested that this year we try something different for our holiday. We had always stayed at the all inclusive resorts for our trips. After doing some research we agreed to change from our usual to a smaller more intimate hotel. We were not disappointed. The Tropical Casablanca was a great little hotel with around 20 rooms. It has nice pool area with umbrellas and chairs. The beach was right across the street where we would take our coffee every morning and enjoy the view. Unlike at the all inclusive hotels we were able to eat at a different restaurant every night. There are so many to choose from and walking distance from our hotel. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home. Our room came with A.C. and a bar fridge. We kept the fridge stocked with cold beers. My wife had no problem venturing up the street to Fifth Avenue to shop and scope out that nights restaurant. My wife and I have both agreed that if we return to Playa del Carmen we would definately stay at the "
