I'd recommend this hotel for: Couples, Families

"If you like staying in quaint, classic hotels over modern, then Hotel San Carlos is for you. As soon as you approach the building, you can see why it’s been recognized as a Historical Hotel of America. The elevators have an old feel to them as if an attendant should be in there pulling the levers. It’s certainly a nice break from the ultra modern city of Phoenix which is growing more and more by the day. For an old bird like me, I enjoy places like this as do my friends who were on the trip with me. It made us appreciate the city even more having stayed in a piece of history. You’d have to see it for yourself because words alone can’t describe its beauty."
