"Hilton Checkers Los Angeles was recently fully restored to its original 1920s style, and it really is beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay and all the charm the hotel offered. It’s a four-diamond boutique hotel in Downtown L.A., a great home base for traveling around the city. The hotel has a stunning rooftop deck that has breathtaking view of the Los Angeles skyline, and we loved having dinner up there while enjoying the sunset. The staff told us that Gourmet Magazine ranked Checkers Downtown, the hotels’ restaurant, as one of the top 20 restaurants in Los Angeles and we agree!"
