Charming getaway

I'd recommend this hotel for: Groups

"I had heard about the Horton Grand, so I made a reservation with some friends last minute when we decided to get away for a few days. (We still got a great deal.) The staff was very accommodating and nice, they offered suggestions for places to go and what to do in the area. The hotel was really a treat—I can understand now why I heard such good things about it. It was very Victorian, and had a nice ambiance to it. Our room had a balcony overlooking the courtyard, and the rooms were decorated so elegantly it really felt like a vacation. The place is right in the heart of the Gaslamp, and near Horton Plaza for shopping, and Petco Park. The whole experience was very charming and personal. "
