I'd recommend this hotel for: Couples

"I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were at the Watergate. The hotel is old but well kept and the service was good. The beds are pretty comfortable and the marble bathrooms are nice and clean. The hotel is shape like a U. We had a great view of the Potomac River since we had an outside room. The location was good, a 10 minute walk to the metro train that took us everywhere in Washington. The price is good, about half what we would have paid somewhere else. Plus, it was very exciting being in a hotel with lots of history."
