"DO NOT STAY HERE unless you check the room for SMELL first. When we went up in the elevator there was a funny smell but when we got in the room--it was a choking, horrible stench. We eventually realized that it was coming from 2 small containers on the top of the closet area. I assume they were to get rid of the smoke smell but it was worst then any smoke I have smelled in a room and I have never smoked. We were on our way to a cruise to Rome. We had to wait to be picked up by the bus and had the misfortune to have to spent 30 minutes sitting there listening to many couples asking for a refund or even to talk to a manager which was not available. The food there was edible but nothing great. Breakfast was acceptable. Room was very dirty as to the carpets and that was the complaint of one other couple. Another complained about the noise from the bar area in front of the rooms.None of the complainents received any help in the form of a complaint form or telephone number to reach the MANAGER"
