I'd recommend this hotel for: Couples, Families

"My only complaint with Portofino Bay was the price per night. It seemed a bit expensive. However, it was probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The pools were so much fun that I didn't even feel the need to go to the theme parks. One pool had cabanas and another had a beach theme with a slide. The streets in the resort were cobblestone and there were lots of outdoor cafes that gave it an authentic Italian feel. The food was also incredible and reminded me of what I'd get in Little Italy in NYC! One good perk with staying at Portofino is that you get to skip the lines at some of the rides in Universal Studios so that almost makes up for the room charges."
