"My girlfriends and I are scattered throughout Louisiana and we always come to the French Quarter Courtyard for our annual reunion because it has such a relaxing vibe. It has a great European charm and there is so much history to the hotel—a lot of jazz greats have stayed and played here. It’s just three blocks from Bourbon, but mainly we hang by the hotel’s pool. It’s just so relaxing. It’s a small hotel, so there aren’t a lot of crowds to deal with. Plus, some of the rooms have fireplaces and others have balconies, which is just such a nice touch. The rooms are always nice and clean and the staff is very friendly, but not in an in-your-face kind of way. We love this hotel and I always recommend it to friends traveling to New Orleans. "
