The vast twin cities, while they are joined at the hip as Minneapolis-St. Paul, are nonetheless different from each other in subtle ways. Although generalizations can be misleading, Minneapolis has more of a modern business-like feel to it, with towering glass buildings. St. Paul, on the other hand, symbolized by its giant cathedral, is a more sedate locale.
