"What a great hotel! My family and I stayed here a few months ago on a week-long trip to the city. As first-time guests to San Francisco, we weren’t sure where to go, or how to get anywhere, but the staff was so helpful in securing dinner reservations for us, providing us with maps and information, and suggesting local things to do. My kids were thrilled with the local cable car ride past Chinatown, over Nob Hill, by Lombard Street and down to Fisherman's Wharf. While we enjoyed the surrounding restaurants, we occasionally headed down to Luques Restaurant & Bar in the lobby for some California cuisine and a diverse beer and wine menu. "
