"This vacation was one of my favorites. My wife always picks the best hotels, as she enjoys nice upscale accommodations, but the Renaissance Tampa was really something to write home about. As soon as we walked into the lobby, we immediately felt like we were worlds away, on some Mediterranean island. The open-air lobby and courtyard gave the place a very European island feel, which we loved! The décor was beautiful and the Italian crystal and bright colors throughout the lobby and hallways made it a very luxurious stay for us. While we ventured around the city and sampled some delicious area restaurants, we really enjoyed the Pelagia Trattoria in the hotel, and the olive bar in the lobby, which guests were invited to sample from. A great weekend overall. "
