"My Husband and I checked in hotel (motel) 2/2009 with a party of 10 we were not on the same floor or building. We booked a Queen room/ non smoking and got a full, staff would not give us what we prepaid $189.00 a nite we stayed 3 nites. We could smell the smoke coming from rooms next to ours. The staff was of no use and the manager Glen Smith was nasty and did not care about anything. The room had holes in ceiling (peep) wallpaper was coming down, dirty curtains; bed linen (spots) towels when we could get some were thin and spots. The bathroom tub/shower was not clean, water pressure ran poorly and toilet had brown ring inside. We were not able to get outside calls, telephone did not work. The room was noisy (pipes or something made noise all night). False advertising, pictures and virtual tour (scam) The continental breakfast was gone before 7:30am ask for more and was told they were out of food. I would not recommend a dog to stay at Queen & Crescent. "

"I stayed here on business recently and had a great experience. The Queen and Crescent Hotel is very nice and offers a great rate. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and my room had a great view of Poydras Street. It’s also a quiet hotel, which is important to me, despite the fact that the hotel is very close to Bourbon Street and Harrah’s Casino. Still, that’s great for when you want to take a little break from business. The staff is very friendly and most of them greeted me by name during my stay. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. "
