"Take a trip to Las Vegas and stay at the Flamingo. You'll find the Wildlife Habitat here, where there are actual live flamingos, among other birds, ducks, and turtles. This was great for my wife and kids to visit while I was at those grueling business meetings. My daughter couldn't stop talking about the 'big pink birds' all throughout dinner. Flamingo Las Vegas is conveniently located on the Strip so at nighttime when I didn't have to work anymore, I was able to take my family around town, where we could see the sights and make a vacation out of my business trip. "

I'd recommend this hotel for: Couples

"The Flamingo is smack dab in the middle of the Strip, is surrounded by the biggest hotels and has a stop for the monorail right outside. You could not ask for a better location for this price. We stayed at Christmas time and paid only $70 a night, got a room that faced the strip - we could see the Bellagio fountains from our bedroom window! The rooms are older, need to be renovated, but still very clean. The bathroom was on the samll side but functional and clean. The casino is great - has a tropical smell, almost like coconuts and has a friendly feel to it. Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville is great - the margaritas are tasty, music is great and the food is healthy and served quickly. This is a definite place to try if you are looking to stay directly on the Strip."
